April 5, 2026On Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Easter Vigil liturgy, Prior-Administrator, Fr. Edward Seton Fittin, OSB ‘82 baptized Maxwell Comunale '29 with the baptismal name Maximilian Kolbe.
Two others wished to be received into full communion of the Catholic Church: Austin Kramer ‘22 and Lucien Bret ‘27. Both made a Profession of Faith, after which Prior Edward Seton conferred the sacrament of Confirmation on Austin, Lucien and Max. All three also received their First Communion.
The two-hour liturgy was filled with soaring music thanks to the superb Abbey Choir under direction of Abbey Principal Organist, Mr. Matthew Zabiegala.
